How Does the Process Work?
İnci Radar, the Open Innovation Platform that aims to effectively disseminate the entrepreneurial activities of our companies on national and international platforms and to find solutions to the innovation needs of the group companies through the entrepreneurial ecosystem, was launched in 2023 and achieved successful results within the scope of the process diagram on the side.
Within the scope of determining the innovation needs of the group companies for 2023, work was carried out with the contact persons in the OPEX, Innovation and Engineering units of the group companies.
As a result of the screening and bridging activities conducted within the scope of identified needs, relevant initiatives were selected with a focus on sustainable and responsible investments and a motivation to create the highest value within the framework of ESG criteria. Some examples of our successful implementations include:
1) Within the scope of the project to generate electricity by recovering energy from in-factory waste heat in cooperation with İnci GS Yuasa & REPG Energy, studies are continuing with the aim of achieving annual energy savings of over 189,000 kW per year.
2) The automation developed within the scope of the automatic banderoling machine project in cooperation with Yusen Logistics & Siskon prevented human errors and saved up to 27 personnel in labor costs due to speed.
3) It is expected that approximately 80 tons of metal loss will be prevented by recovering 30% of the aluminum from the slag through the R&D project on recovering metal from pressed slag and reducing metal losses, in collaboration with Maxion Alüminyum & İztek A.Ş.
