Our Computer Programming department organized a technical trip to Siskon Automation and Software Inc. Our students who participated in the trip had the opportunity to learn about innovations and technologies in the sector. The company's general manager, Muvaffak Amasya, made a comprehensive presentation about Siskon Automation's activities in factory automation and process control technologies.

 

Muvaffak Amasya explained the successes Siskon Automation has achieved since its establishment and its goals for the future. He provided detailed information about the technologies, software solutions and process control systems used in factory automation. He inspired our students by also providing information about the company's vision, mission and values. Afterwards, human resources manager Selma Çakır informed our students about the internship and recruitment processes at the company. Application stages, interview processes and recruitment criteria were shared in detail. Our students were given important tips about career opportunities at Siskon Automation.

 

Burçin Erdoğan Özhun, who works as a Senior Operation Lead at the company, explained her daily work routines, projects and the challenges they face. Information was provided about software development processes, tools and technologies used. He also emphasized the importance of teamwork and continuous learning. Students had the chance to see how a professional software development environment works.

 

In the Q&A session held after the presentations, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the topics they were curious about with the participation of Deputy General Manager Aslı Amasya and Human Resources Assistant Gamze Dağlı. Company officials answered the students' questions and guided them. Later, our students took a tour of the company and had one-on-one meetings with other software developers. In this way, they gained important experiences both technically and socially.

 

This technical trip was very productive in terms of increasing our students' sectoral knowledge and experience. Thanks to the hospitality and valuable information provided by Siskon Automation and Software Inc., our students received important guidance for their future career planning.
